Mission Statement
Strategic Direction The Tukwila School District will create a learning community that supports and empowers students, staff, and families to reach their greatest potential. The Tukwila School District’s strategic plan is a commitment by the entire community to help our children succeed in school and life. Developed with input from hundreds of voices in the 2017-18 school year, the strategic plan outlines a focused set of academic and personal goals for students and the actions we need to take to achieve those goals. The school board holds the superintendent accountable for implementing the strategic plan, and the superintendent makes sure all of the district’s resources, professional development, and programs are aligned with the strategic plan’s goals.
