Description
HOSPICE Promise provides end of life medical care to patients with a terminal illness and a life expectancy of six (6) months or less.
Hospice services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, (including Holidays), if needed, and are provided in the comfort of the patient's home, ("home" may be a skilled nursing facility, group home, assisted living complex, private residence, or anywhere that the patient calls home).
A team of professionals, including a Physician, Nurse, Social Worker, Chaplain, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and a Volunteer, is assigned to each patient, and will provide individualized care based on the needs of the patient and family.

In addition to knowing this company has the best volunteer coordinator ever, I have heard nothing but great things about the company. The volunteer coordinator is truly a gem and I’m looking forward to continuing to work with her and serving others in need. Win win! You won’t regret such an opportunity if you should feel called.

The Volunteer Coordinator at Hospice Promise is so supportive and was responsive to my questions and concerns. The actual volunteer experience was almost exactly as described in the post so there were no surprises. They really prepared me for my volunteer assignment!
