Virtual Opportunity
The remote volunteer position is an unpaid, virtual assignment. This role will research and implement creative ways to create online fundraisers and sponsorships so that we may continue making our mission possible for years to come. This volunteer will manage fundraising efforts to increase organizational brand awareness and grow our donor base. Volunteers for this position must be located within the United States. (Local fundraising in-person events may be implemented and managed by our Community Outreach & Events Coordinator.) Key Responsibilities: Generate creative new business opportunities to increase sponsorships. Establish ongoing, online fundraising presence and identify donation programs and opportunities. Research and identify potential online donors, businesses and organizations. Prospect and solicit local, state, and national corporate donors and potential business partners as sponsors. Compile submittal details and requirements for applicable opportunities. Our volunteers are highly valued members and make a difference in the lives of our rescues. As a true sanctuary, we will not breed, sell, exhibit or exploit animals. We are committed to educating the public about the homeless animal crisis and to treat each rescue with respect, love, and kindness. Each quarter, we purchase pallets of deep discounted cat food from the Houston Humane Society and require help with the pick-up and delivery to our sanctuary. These central east Texas area AND/OR Houston volunteers need a reliable truck or trailer, valid drivers license, vehicle registration, and insurance. We can either reimburse for your gas expense, or provide you a donation tax receipt.

This in-person volunteer is responsible for supporting and facilitating Mission Possible's community outreach and local events programs, as well as communicating our mission, TNR programs, and other outreach efforts by engaging and cultivating relationships with the local community members and organizations. Our volunteers are highly valued members and make a difference in the lives of our rescues. As a true sanctuary, we will not breed, sell, exhibit or exploit animals. These in-person volunteers will help with feeding canned and kibble food to our sanctuary cats, providing fresh water, cleaning litter boxes, sweeping, and general tidying up. Cat Care might also include medicating cats as needed. Other duties include help with stocking supplies, and socializing our cats by petting, brushing, and playing with them. Our volunteers are highly valued members and make a difference in the lives of our rescues. As a true sanctuary, we will not breed, sell, exhibit or exploit animals. This in-person professional OR amateur photographer volunteer will take high quality, high resolution periodic photographs and videos of our sanctuary cats going on about their day, of our on-site volunteers doing various sanctuary work, during our local fundraising events, etc. You will need to supply your own videography/photography equipment.
