Description
Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS) is dedicated to helping individuals and families find new paths to self-reliance and brighter futures. Over 36,000 individuals and families turn to us each year for support in the following areas:
- Housing
- Early Child Development
- Workforce Development
- Health & Mental Health
- Intervention and Prevention
- Child Placement
- Legal Services
Programs include job training, homelessness prevention, counseling, affordable medical care referrals, foster care, debt management and child abuse prevention.

Because it its always good to do charity for the community

I think it is a Model that is outstanding for Human Services. I like the number of different opportunities it offers citizens of a community. I worked with the Community Service Board of Fairfax County and have been very proud. I am more impressed about these services and wish to be a part at least as a volunteer and learn more about the Organization.
