Mission Statement
The Countywide CDC Development Corporation is proud to present you with Project LEAD Initiative of 2018. We created Project LEAD Initiative (Leadership, Education, Economic, and Awareness Development) to strengthen the American Dream for entrepreneurship and upward mobility. In addition, Project Lead Initiative is a community-based capacity building and development training project for emerging leaders to strengthen vulnerable communities abilities’ to build holistic and vibrant neighborhoods. The focus is to improve leadership, economic mobility, educational opportunities and public policy affecting children, families, and individuals growing and prospering. Countywide CDC seeks to equip low-to-moderate income children, individuals, organizations, neighborhoods, communities, and small rural municipalities to obtain, improve, retain the knowledge and resources needed to adapt and thrive in a fast-changing social and economic environment.

Purpose
To equip individuals, organizations, neighborhoods, communities, and small townships to obtain, improve, and retain the the knowledge and resources needed to adapt and thrive in a fast-changing social-economic environment.
MissionTo develop economic mobility opportunities through interaction and engagement. We seek to increase economic opportunities for long-term prosperity through growing innovative entrepreneurs and creating full-time employment options.
VisionTo produce an inclusive culture of collaboration of partners of holistic community development.
Objectives- Developing the Southeastern Regional Council for collaborative projects to produce stronger socio-economic sustainable communities together.
- Providing arts enhancement, educational and employment opportunities for youth.
- Examining social justice, equity and public policies issues affecting minorities and low wealth citizens.
- Developing a " County-Wide Community Leadership Academy" for educational tools and strategies to address and correct social issues.
- Increasing socio-economic opportunities for long term prosperity in underserved and underperforming urban and rural communities through filling workforce housing needs, growing innovative entrepreneurial opportunities and creating full-time employment options.
- Developing social and cultural arts empowerment activities for community interaction and civic engagement.
