Mission Statement
Volunteer in Portugal to participate in a community project located in a Buddhist Retreat Center in Alentejo. This project aims at helping this Portuguese Buddhist practitioners community to develop the retreat center and its community activities. You can join for 1 weekend up to 1 months and we have places available all year round. Individuals, small groups and students are welcome.
Description
This volunteer project is located in a traditional Tibetan Buddhist retreat center devoted to serve teaching, meditation practice and the spiritual community life. Its aim is the establishment of a center - an important milestone - in Portugal for the learning and practice of the purest spiritual traditions from the old Dzogchen and Mahamudra Lineage, as well as to encourage a pacific and compassionate atmosphere which actively contributes to the creation of a better, more pacific and benevolent society.
