Mission Statement
Miami Diaper Bank fills a gap in services by connecting diapers and baby essentials to vulnerable families, providing immediate relief and raising awareness about diaper need in South Florida.
Description
The Miami Diaper Bank is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to collecting and distributing free diapers to homeless and low-income families across South Florida. Since we were founded in 2013 (by a middle school student) we have donated over 5,800,000 diapers and counting!
We’re able to make a difference in the community thanks to the help of over 54 amazing community partners throughout South Florida, including including Florida Keys Healthy Start Coalition, Miami-Dade Early Learning Coalition, The Lotus House, Ronald McDonald House and Chapman Partnership.
Through our volunteers we have been able to deliver services during unprecedented times like COVID-19, powering over 45 pop up distributions. Our engaged and diverse volunteers provide resources like time, money and products to ensure our mission is serving as many children as possible. With our new Diaper Hub we will be able to host even more of you!
We pride ourselves in having fun, creating memories and raising awareness about diaper need all while making a direct impact in our own communities.
If you would like to join our mission-driven and change making volunteer family please register for one of our upcoming event. You can also reach out to info@miamidiaperbank.com to find more ways to help babies stay clean, dry and healthy through out South Florida and beyond.
