Are you ready to help create transformative change in underserved communities? Season to Soar is seeking a dedicated leader to Co-Chair our Program Committee. As Chair, you’ll harness your skills to combat the root causes of inequity and guide community members and young leaders toward a brighter future. Overview The Program Committee Chair plays a pivotal role in Season to Soar, overseeing the coordination, execution, and communication of the organization's key programs, outlined below. Our flagship program, the Global Leadership Youth Program, is designed to nurture 5th to 8th-grade students from underserved communities, guiding them to become global citizens and visionary leaders. Global Leadership in Action Programs initiatives aimed at fostering global citizenship and uplifting our communities. For example, school supply giveaways, park clean-ups, food drives, and more Responsibilities: Distribute tasks and projects among committee members. Maintain the committee's project management tool Asana, consistently updating records to reflect tasks, deadlines, and responsible parties. Monitor project progress, addressing delays, and obstacles. Communicate committee developments, outcomes, and updates. Manage and respond to emails received in the committee's email account, forwarding relevant messages to team members as needed. Participate in regular Board Meetings to discuss progress, strategize, and address challenges. Lead Program Committee meetings, creating agendas, facilitating discussions, and ensuring efficient use of time. Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with committee members to provide support and gather insights. Time Commitment: (2) 30 minute virtual meetings per week + aproximatly 1-2 hours per week overseeing projects and managing the committee.
