Trinity is looking for compassionate people to sit and read to our patients. Join them in watching TV, coloring, drawing, painting, some would even love the bible read to them. Some hospice patients fall into depression and become lonely. Become the companion they need. We are flexible on time and work around your schedule. Patients are in a home setting or in a nursing home setting. Volunteers Needed for Hospice If you are a kind and compassionate person, we would for you to join our Trinity hospice volunteer team! We are looking for individuals to spend an hour or two per week with our hospice patients in their home or at a facility. Some of the things you do as a volunteer: Sit and talk to the patient and/or caregiver Watch TV Sit in on activities Read with them Sing or play music A little bit of your time can make such a big impact in their lives. Volunteers provide important services to hospice organizations and the people they serve. Whether it's providing companionship to a person in the final months and weeks of life, offering support to family members and caregivers, or helping with community outreach and fundraising, the contributions of volunteers are essential to the important work provided by our nation's hospice programs. By being a hospice volunteer, you can gain great personal satisfaction from knowing that you have made an impact in another person's life and in your community. From the employees and volunteer staff, everybody's work is valued and appreciated. It is a growing organization that has a great leadership, drive, and purpose that comes from the Founders of Trinity Hospice and is instilled in the managers, volunteer recruiter, and volunteers.
