Here are a couple of ways to get started: Visit https://loveyourferalfelines.com/volunteer/volunteer-application to fill out our volunteer application form Drop us a line at volunteer@loveyourferalfelines.com We offer flexible 3-hour volunteer shifts throughout the week, including weekends and evenings. Your passion for feline friends can shine at a time that suits you best! Hour Requirements Monthly average: 10 volunteer hours Weekly and bi-weekly opportunities are available. Youth Volunteers: 16-17-year-olds: Two trainings and two shifts must be completed with the designated parent/guardian participating in the volunteer activities. Once those are completed, 16-17-year-olds can attend volunteer hours solo and the parent no longer needs to attend. 12-15-year-olds: Two trainings and ALL shifts must be completed with the designated parent/guardian present when the youth is onsite. The parent must participate in the volunteer activities. Under 12 years old: Due to liability, unfortunately, we are unable to accept volunteers under 12 for on-site volunteer activities, though they are welcome to support other activities, such as special projects. About Us: At Love Your Feral Felines (LYFF), we are dedicated to rescuing and providing care for cats and kittens in need. With daily requests pouring in, we are urgently seeking compassionate individuals to join our foster care program and help us save as many lives as possible. The Need: Right now, there are countless baby kittens in need of our assistance. Our most critical need is for foster parents for neonate kittens and momma cats with their litters. Neonate kittens require round-the-clock care, including bottle feeding every 2-4 hours. While the commitment is substantial, the reward of saving lives is immeasurable.
