Position Summary The grant writer is responsible for identifying new funding opportunities and helping convert prospective individuals, foundations, embassies, agencies, NGOs and companies into donors to increase donations to Joyland Prime Academy. This position will bring over 2000 out of school children back to school, prevent germs from conterminating community lands and control diseases and related deaths. How we intend to use the donations The donations will be used in building classrooms to bring out of school children back to school, building toilets to promote good health, control germs from conterminating community land and prevent dieases and deaths caused by germs When children are out of school they will be victims of drug abuse, involuntary marriages, social crimes, dependants, early marriages and pregnancies. Your roles Drafting a compelling fundraising proposals requesting for financial donations Collaborating with organizations and serving as a primary contact for donors Proactively research relevant Requests For Proposals (RFP) and funding opportunities Advancing engagement strategies to secure various donor types, including foundations, companies,agencies, embassies, NGOs, and individuals to increase financial donations Lead on building school's network by representing the school at interactions with prospective donors Fundraising goal AS a grant writer, you can raise the amount of your choice and ability. One classroom costs US $ 4400 and one toilet costs US $ 600. You can fund raise for a classroom (s) or a toilet (s) Our fundraising goal is fifty thousand US dollars.

Volunteer Teaching Assistant Program Overview The Volunteer Teaching Assistant Program is designed to support teachers and students by providing additional resources and assistance to both teachers and students, improving the overall learning experience for students. The program aims to recruit dedicated volunteers who can contribute to the educational environment by preparing materials, grading assignments, and engaging with students to foster a positive and productive classroom atmosphere. Program Objectives Enhance Educational Support: Provide teachers with extra hands-on support to manage classrooms effectively and improve student engagement. Improve Student Learning: Assist students with exercises and assignments to enhance their understanding and performance in various subjects. Foster Student Engagement: Encourage students to participate actively in their learning process through interactive and supportive teaching methods. Key Responsibilities As a volunteer teaching assistant, participants will engage in various activities to support teachers and students: Preparing Materials: Assist in creating a scheme of work, lesson plans, progress records, and teaching aids that align with the lesson. Organize and distribute educational resources and materials to students. Post charts on the classroom walls Grading Assignments: Help teachers grade homework, quizzes, and exams promptly and accurately. Provide constructive feedback to students to aid their academic development. Record grades and track student progress to inform teachers and parents. Encouraging Students: Inspire students to actively participate in class activities and discussions. Offer personalized support and guidance to students struggling with specific subjects. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and creativity. Volunteer Qualifications Volunteers should possess the following qualifications to participate in the program: A genuine interest in helping students succeed. Education Reentry Service Project Our project supports students who have dropped out by covering their school supplies and fees. This helps address the main reasons they left and allows them to return to school. We're inviting volunteers worldwide to join our Education Reentry Service Fundraising initiative. This position is open to anyone who wants to help. Volunteer Main Tasks: As a volunteer, you’ll help us reach our $23,150 fundraising goal by: Writing and sending grant proposals Setting up a crowdfunding platform Organizing fundraising events Encouraging others to support our efforts Taking on other related tasks We Support: 10 Primary School Students: $950 per year for school supplies 10 High School Students: $2,200 per year for tuition and supplies 10 University Students: $20,000 per year for tuition and supplies Location: You can work remotely or on-site.
