In School Mentor

Flexible Schedule | Orangeville, Canada

The In-School mentoring program provides youth with a role model and a friend to talk to and share the experiences of growing up within school grounds. For one hour a week, mentors meet with their mentee and engage in activities such as board games, crafts or just hang out on school grounds. The In-School mentoring program requires a weekly visit of one hour for the duration of the school year. Matches do not meet over the summer break or during other school holidays.

Big Brother Mentor

Big Brothers are matched with a boy between 6-16. Together they meet once a week or once every two week for a few hours. Being a Big Brothers can be as much fun as it sounds. You get to play road hockey, play computer games, go for a hike, just hang out. Do anything you both like to do. The focus is on low cost or no cost activities. Together you build a friendship that has life changing possibilites for both the child and the volunteer.

Big Sister Mentor

Every girl needs a Big Sister to share with, talk to or confide in. Whether it's playing sports, learning a new craft or just goofing around, you'll make a big difference in each other's life. Big Sisters experience a sense of discovery and enjoyment as they see a world of possibilities through a child's eyes. The program allows a Big Sister to truly help a child. Spend 2-4 hours once a week or once every two weeks doing things you both like to do while all along creating a friendship.
