Volunteers Wanted for PetSmart N. Babylon Adoption Center

Are you a Cat Lover and want to help them but don’t know how? Volunteering is a wonderful way to give back and help homeless cats & kittens on Long Island. Tender Loving Cats, Inc. has an Adoption Partner Adoption Center within the PetSmart N. Babylon location as part of PetSmart Charities. We are in need volunteers to staff the center Monday-Sunday for AM & PM and Midday shifts. These shifts are clean, feed and love shifts! Children over the age of 14 years old are welcome to volunteer with an adult over the age of 18 years old. We can provide the much needed community service hours for High School Requirements, College Requirements, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, as well as various other Requirements. Experience is preferred but not required. TLC is a grass roots rescue founded in January 2017. Tender Loving Cats, Inc. is seeking professional Photographers to take pictures of our cat/kitten(s) for adoption bi-weekly. These pictures will be used on our Petfinder, Webpage and Social Media Outlets. Since Tender Loving Cats is a foster-based rescue it’s important that we post pictures that are can show the cat/kitten(s) true beauty to find them forever homes. We will arrange bi-weekly "Photo Shoots" at our PetSmart N. Babylon location. Fundraising Coordinator

We are looking for people with a self starter mindset to coordinate fundraising strategies and who will be responsible for supporting major fundraising programs. Develop fundraising goals and solicitie funds. This person will help to identify new potential donors and organizes initiatives to solicit funding. The Fundraising Coordinator’s will be responsible for organizing the fundraising committee, planning quarterly fundraising meetings and coming up with varies fundraising idea that will ultimately need approval of the President and then seeing those approved ideas to fruition.
