Mission Statement

The mission of West Overton Village and Museum is to illustrate the history of West Overton: its Distillery, coal and coke heritage, and the birth place of Henry Clay Frick.

Description

West Overton Village and Museums are home to the original Old Overholt Whiskey distillery, as well as being the birth place of Henry Clay Frick. Today, we exist as a whiskey museum, and the original homestead is also open for tours. West Overton Village is an important historical marker for the economy and industry of Southwestern Pennsylvania. We aim to educate about the homestead, Overholt and Frick familial importance, whiskey, and the coke and coal industry in Pennsylvania.
