About Us: Never Alone Community Food Pantry is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing food and resources to individuals and families in need. We believe in the power of community and are passionate about making a positive impact. Our goal is to be a light in our community and show those going through tough times that they are never alone. Position Overview: We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Content Creator Volunteer to help enhance our online presence. You will work closely with our marketing team to craft engaging and impactful content for our social media platforms. This is a great opportunity for college students seeking to gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media strategy, and nonprofit marketing. Responsibilities: - Assist in developing and executing social media campaigns across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.). - Create compelling, creative content (graphics, videos, stories) that aligns with the pantry’s mission. - Create content that will engage with our online community and spark online comments, feedback and conversations in a positive and timely manner. - Collaborate on initiatives like fundraisers, volunteer engagement, and wish list promotions. - Track and analyze social media metrics to gauge the effectiveness of posts and campaigns. - Stay up-to-date with social media trends and suggest new ideas to increase engagement. Qualifications: - Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Facebook. - Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) is a plus. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. - Passionate about helping others and making a positive impact in the community.
