I stumbled upon this organization through VolunteerMatch and am so happy I did. Not only do I believe in their mission but the people are top notch. I do a variety of volunteer work. I can honestly say that I immediately felt comfortable and appreciated by McKenna. My 1st experience was at Country Meets Blues. Everything ran smoothly and was organized. I definitely plan on spending more time with this group.

I would recommend a friend because it's a great experience. You get to meet new people and make friends. Also, through talking to people you get an insight on what they go through on a daily basis. As I grow up going through high school people who are gay, bi or trans are not treated the same as everyone else. I wish kids my age had the same love and acceptance in their hearts that I do cause at the end of the day we are all human and should all be treated equally no matter your race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity,or sex. But that's why it start's with me Josiah Vaughn, to work with those who are not accepting the LGBT+ community.Peace love and positivity.
