CHARLOTTE HIV-AIDS PEOPLE SUPPORT INC

Description

CHAPS operates a pantry which provides supplemental food and hygiene supplies, free of charge to persons in financial need living with HIV/AIDS and to their dependents. Once each month the clients select the supplies they will need for the following month from a list of 75 food and 28 hygienic (personal care and cleaning) items. Volunteers fill these orders from the pantry shelves and the orders are picked up at the pantry or delivered to clients who are unable to come to the pantry. No other organization, public or private, provides food and hygiene items to HIV + people in Southwest Florida.
