Mission Statement

Rays of Light, a Texas 501(c)(3) corporation, is dedicated to providing free, quality respite care to families with children with special needs, across the spectrum, in the Dallas metropolitan area. Together with our volunteers, we strive to lend support and relief to these families through our respite care program called Night Lights.

Description

With our volunteers, nurses, and off-duty Dallas police office, Rays of Light offers parents a safe haven for their children to enjoy a special evening while they enjoy a night out. The children have the opportunity to just be kids in a loving and nurturing environment. Each Night Lights include live entertainment, arts & crafts, a movie theater setting, a game room, computer room, gym, and therapy dogs. Every Friday evening starts with a magician, face painter, juggler, or a petting zoo!
