ORGANIZATION: RSVP of the Pioneer Valley

Provide support to help Pioneer Valley seniors stay independent at home. Through RSVP, volunteers 55 and older can provide a variety of essential services:

Money Management volunteers with financial skills visit seniors at home and assist with bill paying.

Home Energy and Repair volunteers help seniors locate benefits for energy and home repair needs.

SHINE volunteers help with Medicare related questions and choices on a one-to-one basis in senior centers and hospitals and virtually.

Good interpersonal, computer and financial skills are needed. Schedules and locations vary. CORI and driver's license are required. Training and support is provided.

RSVP is the volunteer connector for people 55 and over in the Pioneer Valley. Whatever your background, skills, and interests, RSVP will match you with a rewarding volunteer opportunity.

Description

RSVP volunteers must be 55 years or older and volunteer in Hampden, Hampshire or Fanklin County, MA. RSVP matches a volunteer's skills and interests with community organizations in Western Massachusetts that need help. RSVP staff remains available to help volunteers achieve the most out of their service.
