RSVP volunteers 55 and older help nonprofit thrift shops, hospital and senior center gift shops and coffee shops to raise funds in support of new programs and equipment. Volunteers work together in teams and need some cash handling skills, the ability to lift up to 10 pounds, good people skills, and the ability to stand unassisted for 3 hours. CORI and training required.
Volunteers can craft items for sale in the gift and thrift shops to raise funds.
Coffe Shop volunteers make and sell snacks to benefit the organization.
Thrift and Gift Shop volunteers price, display and sell items.

Description
RSVP volunteers must be 55 years or older and volunteer in Hampden, Hampshire or Fanklin County, MA. RSVP matches a volunteer's skills and interests with community organizations in Western Massachusetts that need help. RSVP staff remains available to help volunteers achieve the most out of their service.
