Coastal Volunteers in Medicine is a non-profit organization that provides primary healthcare to the uninsured of Southern Ocean County. In order to qualify for our services, patients must live within a certain zip code, have incomes less than 250% of the Federal Poverty Level and not have any health insurance.
We are always looking for volunteers to help:
1. Doctors and Advanced Practice Nurses
2. Volunteers with specific skills such as Spanish translators, website designers, fundraising and grant writers.

Mission "Our primary mission is to understand and serve the health and wellness needs of the uninsured medically underserved population and their households, living in Southern Ocean County by providing free primary health care using volunteer clinicians as service providers.
Description
COASTAL VIM is a free non-urgent health center treating patients without medical insurance; who live in the service area within southern Ocean County; and who have a family income below 250% of the federal poverty level. CVIM offers primary care by volunteer doctors and nurse practitioners for all ages and psychiatry for adults. The staff includes volunteer nurses and administrative staff.
