Have a passion for horses? Come on out and help care for our amazing herd of therapeutic riding and hippotherapy horses. Barn Buddies help with basic care of the horses such as feeding,mucking stalls, turn out, etc. Other opportunities available depending on level of horse experience. You must be able to work independently and without direct supervision, as well as demonstrate safety while in the barn. We are looking for help in the barn Monday-Saturday mornings from 8am-11am* and evenings from about 6-8 pm*. *Times subject to change. One simple orientation is all that is needed to get started. Mission Statement

Horses Help is a recreational and therapeutic organization, in an equine environment, for the special needs and at-risk community by helping to overcome barriers dealing with physical, cognitive and emotional limitations.

Description

Horses Help has been serving the special needs and at risk youth populations for over 30 years. Volunteers assist children & adults with physical cognitive and emotional challenges during daily sessions in a very diverse equine environment, The volunteers at Horses Help will be delighted with the diversity of the programs with which to participate.
