Sample Soap LOVES Roc City Roller Derby! Derby is over for 2024, but we will be collecting in the 2025 season. Looking forward to having your help with Derby!
And we'll need extra volunteers at fun scrimmages!
Note: location may vary within Monroe County
Here are the volunteer activities:
- Hand out flyers to bout fans
- Collect toiletry donations from fans
And if you want, you can stay and watch the scrimmage for free.

With a little time and a lot of fun, we help Rochester's neediest neighbors
Description
We collect sample and full-sized toiletries and distribute them to human service agencies.
Clients include the homeless, sexual assault survivors, children and families in transition, survivors of domestic violence, migrant workers, and AIDs survivors.
We have distributed over 80,000 pounds of toiletries in Rochester. Sample Soap has been recognized by the Points of Light Foundation, the White House and People Magazine; we also won a national "Make a Difference Day" award.
