McLaren Hospice is looking for compassionate people to sit with our patients during the active dying process and to provide a caring presence at the bedside. Your presence during the last days of a hospice patient's life can help to provide a peaceful transition from life to death. A Vigil Volunteer may provide companionship by simply being present with the patient who is dying without family members or friends available. They may also provide support to family members sitting at the bedside of their loved one.
Please contact Suzanne Maurer at Suzanne.Maurer@mclaren.org for more information.
