This position maintains the database, sends thank you letters, calls donors to secure correct address and provides general office support. Runs some errands and makes bank deposits.

Great for College students looking to gain some office experience, unemployed, stay at home moms or retirees!!

Please choose a time convenient for you in the following available shifts:

Monday - 8 to 4:30

Tuesday - 2 to 4:30

Wednesday - 8 to 4:30

Thursday - 1 to 4:30

Friday - 1 to 4:30

About Corazon de Vida Foundation: Founded in 1994, Corazon de Vida ("CDV") is a US based non-profit organization supporting Baja Mexico orphanages. We help provide children in dire need the necessities of shelter, food, clothing, education, and healthcare. CDV is based in Irvine, CA, and since its inception has been providing volunteer opportunities to Southern California’s residents through our monthly cross-border visits to the orphanages.

Mission Statement

Corazón de Vida Foundation (CDV) Funded in 1994 is a for-purpose organization providing life changing support for orphaned and abandoned children in Baja, Mexico. We are on a mission to end child abandonment by breaking the vicious cycle of poverty. We believe every child's life is valued and holds the same potential, excitement and opportunity as any other life. It is up to us to work together to make sure our care transforms into each child's hope for the future. Currently CDV is helping to feed, clothe, shelter, and educate over 700 children each day living in over 10 orphanages.

Description

SUSTAIN

We provide consistent monthly funding to each orphanage to cover food, shelter, water, utilities- the basic survival needs of the children.

IMPROVE

We provide project based funding for facilities improvement, construction, medical, dental, and psychological services.

EDUCATE

We provide funding for uniforms, supplies, graduation fees, and scholarship based funding for teens aging out of the orphanage system.
