We are seeking crew leader volunteers who are available on Saturdays this fall from 8:30 am until 2:30 pm. Must have construction experience and be able to lead groups of unskilled volunteers on the build site with Habitat staff supervision. We will be building in Norwich and North Stonington.
Habitat for Humanity houses are built with volunteer support. Volunteers do everything from framing, roofing, siding, drywall installation, flooring, painting, and much more.
Habitat's mission is to create safe and stable housing in partnership with eligible homeowners. Our volunteers provide critical support in fulfilling that mission through valuable donations of time and talent.

Description
Organized in 1987, Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut (HFHECT) has constructed or rehabilitated 70 homes in our area using volunteer labor and donated building material or material purchased with donated funds. The affiliate's financial backing comes from private citizens, foundations, corporations, and area churches. Future homeowners work side by side with volunteers from the community.
