We need a support group leader or two to work together for a group in Placerville, California. The group is nots currently meeting but the previous leader has moved away. So new leadership is needed for this developing group. Information, help, materials, and counsel will be provided. The group meets at the Senior Center shortly after lunch when groups may meet there again. We are hoping to start again in September, 2021. More than one person is best so activities can be shared. There is help in the group but none that are confident in taking the lead. Please e-mail info@pnhelp.org if you are interested. Bev Anderson will respond or you may call her at 1-877-622-6298.

Mission Statement
Hope through caring and education - Our mission is to provide support, information and referral to people with neuropathy and to those who care about them, to inform and connect with the health care community and to support research. We need people to serve as group leaders in many communities in the Western States west of the Rocky Mountains.
Description
We are a California Non Profit Public Benefit Corporation which IRS deems to be tax exempt. We major in starting and developing support groups for people with peripheral neuropathy and those who care about them. In the process we endeavor to make connections with the health care community to better serve our members and to inform the health care community about "this mst common disease you've never heard of." With approximately 2 million people in California suffering from neuropathy, it is amazing how many people have never heard about it. Many know someone with the symptoms but may not know there is a name for this. We are led by a Board of Directors now numbering 6. These people have a variety of skills and contually upgrade the organization.
