The Circle of Hope is seeking volunteer side aides to assist with the program. Side aides walk next to the participant to ensure the safety of the participant during the session.

Circle of Hope provides equine assisted activities and therapies to children and adults with physical, mental, developmental and emotional disabilities. A volunteer at Circle of Hope may perform many tasks depending on the need of the specific participant. These tasks may include: leading the horse during the session, side aiding during the session, grooming horses, assisting with the set-up and clean-up of arena, and cleaning tack (bridles, saddles, and adaptive equipment) and more!

Description

Circle of Hope Therapeutic Riding, Inc., (CHTR), is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 1996 offering individualized equine-facilitated therapy. Our goal is to implement the latest ideas and developments in therapeutic riding by providing a positive atmosphere for those with disabilities to ensure individual's capabilities are developed to their fullest. This program utilizes the recognized value of equine facilitated therapy to augment traditional therapies.
