DO YOU HAVE THE HEART OF A VOLUNTEER?
If the answer is "Yes", you are one step closer to feeling the personal satisfaction of enriching the life of a hospice patient and their loved ones.
HarmonyCares Hospice is currently seeking volunteers in the Perry / Owosso areas to brighten the day of our patients. Volunteers can spend time helping hospice patients by do light housekeeping, lawn work, pet walking, or spending valuable time visiting. Use your unique talents and skills to help those in your community. Any time commitment big or small is appreciated and can fit into most busy life styles.

Description
HarmonyCares Hospice of Lansing provides patients with a terminal illness, with a life expectancy of 6 months or less, the specialized care needed at end of life. Volunteers provide a wide range of activities across several counties including Ingham, Shiawassee, Clinton, Jackson, and Eaton. Volunteers can sign up to provide companionship, emotional support, supportive presence, light housekeeping, lawn/ pet care, and MUCH MUCH MORE!

- Since we are working with an at risk population, volunteers will be required to undergo a drug screening, TB testing, fingerprinting, and background check. All testing is set up and paid for by HarmonyCares Hospice. (Ages 14-17 excluded from testing)
