YOU can make a difference in the life of an older adult. Deliver a smile and a hot lunch when you volunteer to take a meal to a home bound senior! Volunteers use their own car and have the option of being reimbursed for mileage. Flexible schedule with only a 2 hour commitment! We have some open routes and also need substitute volunteers who are called when needed to cover shifts when regular drivers are out. You can choose to be on only certain days of the week or anytime.
Getting adequate nutrition is a serious concern for many seniors. Whether due to financial or physical limitations, it can sometimes be a challenge to purchase and prepare nutritious meals. Seniors First is proud to be the Meals on Wheels provider in Placer County. The Meals on Wheels program is designed to provide seniors with hot meals and daily social interaction.
Help local seniors remain healthy and connected while making a positive impact in your community - become a Meals on Wheels delivery driver: Flexible day and time commitments and you can choose your service area. Drivers are needed for Auburn, Loomis, Lincoln, Rocklin, Roseville and Granite Bay. Mileage reimbursement is available. Must be 21 years or older.
