ORGANIZATION: EASEL Animal Rescue League of Mercer County

EASEL Animal Rescue League of Ewing, NJ is dedicated to reducing the population of feral cats in Mercer County. Join the effort to ZERO feral cat reproduction through Trap, Neuter, Return! Every cat counts and you can make a difference!

We need dedicated volunteers for the following:

  • Trappers for the Mercer County feral cat population. Training provided. May need to lift 30 lbs maximum, handle physical activity and work outdoors. Team up with a friend and explore TNR for a rewarding experience.
  • After-care volunteers needed in Ewing to feed and care for the recovering cats.
  • Transporters needed to take cats to and from the clinic in Willow Grove, PA one or two days per week.
  • Cage and trap cleaners needed to care for recovering ferals and adoptable cats and kittens. Join in the schedule and do as much or as little as you can.

Volunteers may be given permission to use EASEL's van for transporting cats. Join us and make a difference.

To reduce the number of homeless, abandoned and abused animals euthanized in Mercer County, through the power of collaborative coalitions and community alliances.

Description

EASEL is an ALL volunteer rescue group. Our goal is to build a state-of-the-art community no-kill animal center to adopt, rescue, and sterilize as many animals in the greater Mercer County area as possible. Our current programs foster abandoned animals, conduct adoptions in and around Mercer County, and run a TNR program to reduce the feral cat population.
