Santa Clara Valley Medical Center Gift Shop
If you want to give back to the community, enjoy people and have some extra energy to give to a good cause, join the volunteers in the hospital Gift Shop. Volunteers assist customers with purchases, maintain the attractive environment of the store, and work together to raise funds for the hospital. Profits from the Gift Shop benefit the patients in our hospital and in the clinics.

Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Volunteer Services Department of Valley Medical Center to recruit, train, supervise and appreciate volunteers that are a well-trained, positive, presence in the hospital. Volunteers assist, but never supplant, the duties of the professional and technical staff.
Description
Gift Shop Volunteer The Gift Shop volunteers receive and price new merchandise; ring up sales on the cash register; assist customers with purchases. Volunteers must have ability to stand for long periods, dust and sweep store; work well with all types of people; have a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
