AP2L is looking for part-time volunteers to help provide administrative support services, while gaining experience in housing placement services.
Responsibilities: The Administrator supports the Executive Director to manage a portfolio of housing programs serving homeless and at-risk families. This includes clerical and administrative support of the day-to-day work of the Executive Director as well as our programs.
Specific responsibilities include:
● Assist Executive Director with calendar and scheduling, email, phone calls and voicemail, and time-tracking.
● Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, and reports.
● Prepare communications for board meetings, events and fundraisers.
● Help to ensure that each AP2L housing program maintains documented protocols and procedures.
● Schedule and run reports in the homeless services data tracking system.
● Attend program staff meetings and other meetings, including note and minute taking as needed.
● Assist with research related to housing and employment, including housing market trends, government rental assistance programs, and community resources.
● Assist with training & onboarding of new volunteers.
● Must become knowledgeable about our housing agency and the population we serve.
● Attend training sessions provided by the agency or outsourced personnel. Most of the tasks are remote but will include some in-person duties.
