Looking for a way to give back during the holidays? Holiday Heroes is Youth Villages' annual campaign that ensures that every youth receiving our services in Middle TN receives gifts. These children have experienced serious abuse and neglect and may have never known what it is like to receive something for Christmas. You can be a light in their lives by simply signing up to be a Holiday Hero and giving them hope during this time. During Holiday Heroes 2023, gifts were provided to over 2,700 youth.

When you click to sign-up as a Holiday Hero, you will:

  • Be put on a private (no spam) email list and begin receiving informational emails in October
  • Be emailed your Wish Lists the week before Thanksgiving
    • Youth range in age from birth to 22 years old
  • Shop for the three items on a child’s wish list (about $150)
  • Heroes are welcome to add additional goodies if they wish
  • Place the new, unwrapped gifts and a copy of the wish list together in a large bag or box
  • Drop-off unwrapped gifts to our HH Workshop the first week of December

Youth Villages helps children and families live successfully through intensive in-home counseling, foster care and adoption, therapeutic group homes for teens, and providing services for youth aged 18-22 that have "aged-out" of traditional foster care services.
