Are you the spreadsheet superhero we've been searching for, thriving on details and passionate about making a positive impact? Do you enjoy various administrative tasks, such as note-taking and organizing? Look no further!
As we expand, our development/marketing team is seeking a detail-driven volunteer, an Administrative Marvel, to tackle tasks with finesse. Although this volunteer opportunity requires dedicated time each week, there's plenty of flexibility -- working with your schedule and some tasks can be handled remotely. Knowledge of DonorPerfect software is a plus.

We achieve our mission through museum exhibits, K-12 curriculum and programs that help people unearth their SHINE-the Strengths, Hobbies, Interests & Irritants, Needs, and Experiences that make them unique.
When you visit House of Shine, you will study the science of self. Each exhibit will bring you closer to understanding yourself and making the most of your talents and gifts. Beyond discovering your Shine, we want to be the catalyst that helps you activate it, implement it and grow it, so you can make your corner of the world a little brighter. What you focus on expands. It’s as true for House of Shine’s story as it is for everyone our organization serves. Our founder, Dr. Claudia K. Beeny, began shaping the idea behind House of Shine in February of 2008, when she wrote the first post for her blog, HighLowAha. She began with the simple goal of sharing one creative idea a day for a year. However, the more she focused on creating, the more ideas came to her. She also began to explore the idea of promoting excellence, which requires greater self-awareness.
