A local bicycle nonprofit seeks volunteers with skills in organizational management to work with the board of directors, business manager, staff and volunteers to monitor and improve operations in our shops and warehouse. Must attend meetings of the board of directors over Google Meets on the third Monday of each month, 7-9pm. Basic bicycle knowledge is preferred but not required.

Our mission is to grow and empower an inclusive biking community through education and affordability. We promote bicycling as a low-cost, sustainable, and healthy mode of transportation and recreation. We reduce waste by using recycled materials and directing unusable bicycle components to a metal recycling facility.
Description
Vélocity Bicycle Cooperative is a local nonprofit that refurbishes used bicycles, selling hundreds of bikes each year for affordable prices while donating over 100 bikes a year to individuals in challenging financial circumstances. No experience is required to volunteer with us. Come on down, make new friends, mess with bikes!
