Responsible for the research of program underwriting, including the s tudy of potential underwriter's company, products, and interests.
Composes and implements a marketing plan targeting businesses, corporations & individuals.
Prepares and makes oral presentations before groups.
Contacts and arranges meetings with potential underwriters.
Discusses and negotiates underwriting of a particular program or series.
Prepares contracts, discusses terms, and obtains signatures.
Ensures proper placement of underwriters' logo and tape prior to show.
Maintains periodic contact with underwriters and follows up regarding renewal.
Maintains files of current, potential, and past underwriters and documents and all related contacts or correspondence.
