Role Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to assist with the Headshot Clinic & Resume Day. Volunteers will help ensure the event runs smoothly by supporting with setup, participant assistance, and overall event monitoring.

Responsibilities

1. Event Setup
• Arrive early to help organize the venue, including setting up photography stations, resume workshops, and seating.
• Arrange event signage, registration areas, and refreshments (if applicable).
• Assist vendors and facilitators with their materials and equipment.
2. Registration Support
• Welcome attendees and check them in at the registration table.
• Distribute event materials and direct participants to their designated areas (headshot photography, resume workshops, or posing guidance).
3. Station Monitoring
• Monitor headshot stations to ensure sessions stay on schedule.
• Provide assistance to facilitators during resume workshops and other activities.
• Ensure the posing area runs efficiently and attendees feel comfortable.
4. Crowd Control and Guidance
• Help maintain a steady flow of participants between different stations.
• Answer attendee questions and provide directions as needed.
5. Event Wrap-Up
• Assist with cleanup and breakdown of event materials.
• Collect feedback forms from attendees (if applicable).
• Pack up materials for Well Read Sistas Inc.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Friendly and welcoming demeanor to help participants feel at ease.
• Comfortable standing and moving around for extended periods.
