Make a Difference with the Ted Rhodes Foundation - Volunteer for Our February Fundraiser!

We’re gearing up for our Double Good Popcorn Fundraiser this February, and we need YOUR help to make it a success! This remote, 4-day fundraiser will raise critical funds to support our Future Golfers of America - "Growing the Champions of Tomorrow" Program.

Volunteer Tasks Include:

  • Sharing our fundraiser on social media, email, and with your community
  • Encouraging others to support and participate
  • Helping us spread awareness about our mission to empower youth through golf

Why Volunteer?

Your efforts will directly impact underprivileged youth, giving them access to life-changing golf programs that teach discipline, teamwork, and leadership.

When: First week of February
Where: Completely remote-volunteer from anywhere!

Mission Statement

Our mission is to preserve and honor the legacy of golfing pioneer Theodore "Ted" Rhodes. The Ted Rhodes Foundation is dedicated to preserving the legacy of Ted Rhodes by empowering underprivileged youth through the game of golf. We strive to provide access, resources, and opportunities that foster life skills, discipline, career readiness, and community engagement. Through education and mentorship, we aim to inspire the next generation to achieve their full potential both on and off the course.

Description

Ted Rhodes’ vision was to make the game of golf open to all races. The Foundation is honoring his vision by introducing the game of golf to youth in the urban areas by hosting educational events about the careers in golf, golf clinics, golf tournaments, and communication and leadership training via Toastmasters International. Our youth programming is under the name Future Golfers of America " Growing the Champions of Tomorrow’. We provide financial support to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) golf programs and golf team members to help further this mission. We also partner with local urban youth golf programs. Opening doors to the world of golf.
