- Administrative - Provides office support for direct patient care. (Mailing, filling, creating patient/teaching material)
- Patient Care - Provides in-person activites and companionship. (Reading, listeining, cooking, yard work... etc.)
- Bereavment - Provides support to bereavment program. (Assists with memorial services, phone check-in's with bereaved family, write letters to family...etc.)
- General Support - Program support by assisting with crafts and activities at local facilities.
We offer a variety of volunteer opportunites and are more than willing to work with you to find what you realy enjoy. We cover all of the Bayou Region from Franklin to Thibodaux, we can find you a volunteer opportunity close to home!

Description
Heart of Hospice Volunteers are an asset to our team as our volunteers provide a multitude of services:
- Administration- Provides office support for direct patient care. (mailing, filing, creating patient/teaching material)
- General Support- Program support by assisting with community events, such as assisting in decorating and planning as well as being creative to design arts and crafts for our patients.
- Patient Care- Provides in-person activities and companionship. (reading, yard work, listening, animal care, cooking...etc.)
- Bereavement- Provides in-person support to the bereavement program. (assist with arrangements after death, agency memorial services, write letters to the families)
