McLaren Hospice is seeking dedicated individuals in the Davison area. Who would like to make a difference in the lives of our McLaren Hospice patients who are faced with an advanced illness. Training is provided and medical experience is not necessary.
Services may include:
- Friendly visits with our hospice patients and family
- Listening to patient reminisce
- Reading to patient
- Respite support for caregiver by sitting with patient as family takes a break
- Light housekeeping
- Assisting with running errands, letter writing
Additionally, we are looking for volunteers with special talents like:
- Trained therapy dogs
- Musically inclined and would like to share musical gifts
- Interest in clerical or office work
