The Falls Church Volunteer Fire Department (FCVFD) is seeking motivated individuals to assist with behind-the-scenes operations as Volunteer Department Support Specialists. This critical role ensures our department runs efficiently by providing administrative, logistical, and operational support.
As a Department Support Specialist, you’ll contribute to the success of our mission by helping with tasks such as record-keeping, scheduling, equipment inventory, and general administrative duties. Your efforts will directly impact our ability to serve the community effectively and maintain a high standard of readiness.
Requirements:- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, email).

Founded in 1925, the Falls Church Volunteer Fire Department is comprised of dedicated and certified volunteer firefighters and emergency medical technicians who provide emergency medical services, major incident and special event support, and fire prevention education for the people of Falls Church and Arlington County.
