Mission Statement

KiTNETiC is a youth-led nonprofit that strives to unite volunteers to pack supply and comfort kits for community causes such as education, disaster relief, and healthcare. We are an organization by the community for the community.

Description

KiTNETiC was started by two 8th-graders, Andria and Jessica, during the summer of 2023. We were both already greatly involved within our community through volunteering with other organizations or hosting outreach events. However, we wanted to create a tangible way for volunteers of all ages to come together to make a difference.

Here at KiTNETiC, we host monthly packing sessions where volunteers can pack kits that help with a specific cause. Previously, we have packed STEM kits which are do-it-yourself STEM experiments, Education kits which are school supply packages, and a Breast Cancer Comfort kit. Already, we have partnered with over 20 organizations and institutions to distribute over 1,400 kits. At this moment, this is our only volunteer program.

KiTNETiC is also an advocate for youth leadership. Thus, we have launched the Youth Leadership Program which allows middle and high school students to apply for a position within KiTNETiC operations. Roles include graphic designer, social media manager, and event manager. If you are interested in applying, please fill out the following form before Feb. 25th: https://forms.gle/ DSUraZaW75kuegnWA
