Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Volunteer Fundraising Lead to develop and lead our fundraising efforts. This role is essential for securing the resources needed to build and maintain the Diverse Emerging Music Organization and its signature initiative, the Minnesota Music Archive. The ideal candidate will have experience in fundraising or a strong desire to learn and grow with us. A deep appreciation for music and cultural preservation is also important.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and grant-making organizations.
• Organize fundraising events and campaigns to engage the community and raise awareness.
• Create compelling fundraising materials, including proposals, presentations, and social media content.
• Track and report on fundraising progress, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Collaborate with the board of directors, staff, and other volunteers to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals.
