The Helena Area Special Olympics Programs is looking for a Special Events Coordinator to help plan their community events!
The Special Events Coordinator plays an instrumental role in raising funds and awareness for Special Olympics athletes and area programs by planning and executing different types of events. They will also assist with planning recreational events for the athletes and volunteers. The Special Events Coordinator will work closely with the Area Management Team, local teams, community members, and businesses.
Experience with a nonprofit organization or sports organization is helpful but not required.
New coordinator orientation and ongoing training is provided by Special Olympics Montana staff.
This is a volunteer, non-paid position. Allowable-expense reimbursements are available.
