Civic Center Conservancy is currently recruiting 1-3 volunteers to help with our upcoming STARGAZE event series at Civic Center Park! While availability for the full series is a plus, we welcome individuals to sign up for single event dates as well.
During this fun and educational event, volunteers will help greet and check-in guests, assist our astronomers, and answer general information about Civic Center Park and the Conservancy. Volunteers will receive a quick training session before the event starts.
Please note STARGAZE takes place in the park and volunteers will be outside for the duration of the event.

The Civic Center Conservancy is dedicated to restoring, enhancing and activating downtown historic Denver's Civic Center Park, elevating and sustaining this National Historic Landmark as an iconic and vibrant cultural and community hub.
Description
Formed in 2004 by a group of private citizens passionate about revitalizing Civic Center Park, the Civic Center Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that partners with the City and County of Denver to restore, enhance and activate Denver’s historic Civic Center Park - elevating and sustaining this historic urban oasis as a vibrant and iconic cultural and community hub. The Conservancy's efforts focus around the following four areas: advocacy for park needs and infrastructure improvements; events and programming to activate Civic Center; public awareness and engagement; and fundraising for capital improvements, activities and initiatives to support and revitalize the park. The Conservancy has a formal cooperative agreement with the City and County of Denver designating it as the official fundraising vehicle for Civic Center Park.
