USACE Allatoona Lake Park Host Volunteer Qualifications for Upper Stamp Creek Boat Ramp: available to work weekends and holidays with extended holiday hours, fulfill 20-25 volunteer hours per week, comfortable with public interaction and engagement, available to open/close park gates while on-duty and at the appropriate times as instructed, have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle that is reliable.


Volunteers will work weekends and holidays with extended holiday hours. Duties include visitor assistance and information services such as redeeming USACE Annual Pass purchases, and frequent patrols throughout the park to ensure the compliance of general park rules by the public. Volunteers will ensure fee compliance but will not be handling user fees.


The work environment is mostly outdoors and non-strenuous. Must be comfortable with working with others, including other sets of volunteers, USACE staff, and the general public. Also must be comfortable with the public coming onto your campsite with questions/concerns given that this park has no gatehouse to operate out of.
