The New Mexico Ramp Project (NMRP) is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. In this volunteer role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring financial stability, and working closely with key stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and supporting coordinators within your department to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Reporting directly to the Executive Director on financial matters and updates.
- Managing volunteers within your department, fostering a collaborative and efficient environment.
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive departmental plan to guide financial operations.
- Collaborating with the Training Manager to develop and sustain a training plan for the department.
- Establishing wage rates for the organization.
- Monitoring and submitting all required governmental financial reporting.
- Interacting with the CPA to prepare the budget and financial reports for the Board of Directors (BoD).
- Handling transactions and overseeing the movement of funds across the organization.
- Working closely with the BoD Treasurer to establish and implement financial policies.
- Approving funding proposals to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Managing the debit and credit cards used by the organization.
- Having the authority to approve and spend funds as necessary for organizational operations.

Mission Statement
The New Mexico Ramp Project is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit that provides free ramps for older adults and people with mobility issues across New Mexico. These are identified by local health care providers and organizations knowing the financial and medical condition of the individual. Volunteer labor is used to build the ramps. Ramps are built without regard to race, religion, ethnicity, age or gender.

Our vision is that no New Mexico resident with mobility issues shall lack safe access to their residence because of financial limitations.
