ORGANIZATION: NEW MEXICO RAMP PROJECT

The New Mexico Ramp Project (NMRP) is seeking two organized and proactive Operations Managers to join our team. In this volunteer role, you will oversee and manage key operations to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and supporting coordinators within your department to ensure effective operations.
  • Reporting directly to the Executive Director, providing updates and insights on operational matters.
  • Managing volunteers within your department to foster a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive departmental plan to guide operations.
  • Collaborating with the Training Manager to develop and sustain a training plan for your department.
  • Generating and presenting reports on key operational areas to the Executive Director.
  • Collecting and maintaining all build documents, both in paper and electronic formats.
  • Supervising office volunteers to ensure efficient workflow and task completion.
  • Screening build applications to ensure they meet project criteria.
  • Addressing problem requests and escalating them to the Executive Director as necessary.

Mission Statement

The New Mexico Ramp Project is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit that provides free ramps for older adults and people with mobility issues across New Mexico. These are identified by local health care providers and organizations knowing the financial and medical condition of the individual. Volunteer labor is used to build the ramps. Ramps are built without regard to race, religion, ethnicity, age or gender.

Our vision is that no New Mexico resident with mobility issues shall lack safe access to their residence because of financial limitations.
