ORGANIZATION: NEW MEXICO RAMP PROJECT

The New Mexico Ramp Project (NMRP) is seeking two enthusiastic and creative Special Events Coordinators to join our team. In this volunteer role, you will be responsible for organizing and managing various events to support our mission and engage the community. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and coordinating special events, sponsorships, and fundraisers to support NMRP’s goals.
  • Organizing volunteer appreciation events to recognize and celebrate the contributions of our dedicated volunteers.
  • Creating and implementing a volunteer recognition program to acknowledge the efforts and achievements of our volunteers.

Mission Statement

The New Mexico Ramp Project is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit that provides free ramps for older adults and people with mobility issues across New Mexico. These are identified by local health care providers and organizations knowing the financial and medical condition of the individual. Volunteer labor is used to build the ramps. Ramps are built without regard to race, religion, ethnicity, age or gender.

Our vision is that no New Mexico resident with mobility issues shall lack safe access to their residence because of financial limitations.
